[ If Junior is wandering about during the later hours on Wednesday, he'll find Hickey strolling through the promenade of reflection, perusing the plaques.
[Its not uncommon to find Junior here. Like many others, he wants to memorize as much as he can about the people he’s stuck with. What they’re capable of. He glances at Hickey when his own placard is referenced, shrugging. He didn’t see the point in hiding something already more-or-less out in the open.]
I found out recently that I was given birth to five years ago…but I don’t know when my birthday is.
[And he very clearly wasn’t THAT young—he had to at least be twice that age.]
[Junior shakes his head. Based on everything he's gleaned from Hickey so far...they were simply from different times. He had no idea how he could even explain the discrepancy of his age in a way that would make any sense to him.]
It's difficult to explain. My mind and body has been made to age faster than a normal person's. That's why I don't really know what age I am. I suppose I'm currently equivalent to an eleven or twelve year old.
What do you mean, "has been made"? Are you not human?
[ A question that feels less insane than it should, but nothing about their current situation makes sense. The Tuunbaq's existence didn't make sense. In order to understand these things, he needs to open his mind. ]
[Junior had the tendency to move around silently, almost like a ghost, even without the use of his power. Maybe that's why he's able to catch Hickey as he slips a chisel into his pocket.]
Hello.
[He stays far enough away as he speaks as to not potentially get swung upon--though he isn't particularly afraid of that prospect, either.]
[ Hickey startles, but only just. He has the composure to hide it well—although Junior will likely notice the slight jolt at the sudden voice, his hand slipping the chisel into his coat a little faster.
He turns, greeting Junior with a smile. ]
Hello there. To what do I owe the pleasure?
[ Maybe Junior's just here for arts and crafts, but no. He's probably here to hang out with his best buddy, Mr. Hickey. ]
[If he remembers correctly, Hickey had a chisel on him at the last trial, too. Like him, he must be comfortable with weapons that could be easily concealed.]
But now that we're here...could I talk to you about something?
[ Hickey keeps his distance from Junior most of the week, as agreed. They ought not to look like they're friendly with one another. The testimony of a near-stranger will carry more weight at trial than the testimony of a friend.
But Hickey does need to speak with him. He waits until Junior wanders off somewhere secluded, where their conversation is unlikely to be overheard. He greets the kid with his usual chipper smile. Hello! ]
Have you put any thought into where you'll post up tonight?
[Perhaps in his wanderings, Junior was also looking for a place of seclusion. He's laid down in one of the pews when Hickey approaches, shaking himself off from his thoughts to sit up and greet him properly.]
Hello.
[He shakes his head.]
I hadn't decided, yet. Did you need me to be somewhere?
[ Hickey takes a seat in the pew next to Junior. ]
Nowhere specific, but I would avoid the first floor of the palace if I were you.
[ He fishes through his jacket to unearth a cigarette. As he searches for a match, his eyes wander up to the light streaming in through the stained glass windows. ]
[Avoid the first floor...he nods. He'll have to see if he can bring any of his suite along with him, find a reason to want to be upstairs. If there's something he needs to be avoiding, he'd rather them not get caught in the crossfire.]
Alright. Is there anything in particular you anticipate I might have to watch out for?
[Checking for injuries seemed to be common. He could offer to check people over...]
[ Hey, check it out, Hickey figured out how to use his little crystal phone that I keep forgetting exists!!! Not too long after the trial, Junior will receive a curt message: ]
Laundry.
[ And then he hangs up!
Assuming Junior answers the call, he'll find Hickey waiting in the laundry room, washing his hands at one of the basins. Not super conspicuous, though, given he just spent way too much time manhandling a severed head. ]
[It's easy enough for him to slip away, thanks to having been searching a different area from his suitemates. As he enters the laundry room, he considers Hickey for a moment before speaking.]
This is the first time there was more than one body. Did you kill both of them?
[It was possible Hickey wanted more than one wish, after all.]
[ He laughs. Wow, Junior has a lot of faith in his capabilities. ]
No. I had nothing to do with Sabo's death, though I'm thankful that whoever did him in chose to leave such a mess behind.
[ And in the chapel, too. He wonders if the group will be able to figure out which evidence belongs to which murder. Unlikely, if last trial was anything to go by. ]
But now that the deed is done, I do have a request to make of you. Should the others push to search for injuries again, cover for me.
[ He gestures to the back of his right thigh. He's not pulling his pants down to show Junior what's up down there, but: ]
Had a little accident. It's not enough to tie me to any murder, but it'll attraction suspicion if seen. No one's been especially eager to enforce a full strip, but best to cover our bases just in case.
[Junior nods. He didn't particularly know Sabo or Andrew--and Hickey followed his part of the alliance. As he said, he'd keep his secret and do what he could to cover him.]
In case they push for it, shall we come up with an excuse? I could say you were showing me something earlier yesterday when you had an accident?
[Junior's sure that Hickey won't be getting many visitors--at least not ones that have anything but animosity toward him. He's not really sure what inspires him to come visit, himself. It's not as if he feels guilty, really. Still, as he steps into the promenade of reflexion, he does offer a remorseful sort of frown.]
It's just a shame I couldn't do more. It seemed like you were going to get away with it, up until the very last moment. I'm surprised that you were singled out in the first place.
[It would have been nice, to have Hickey in his corner next week. Assuming he were to have kept his word.]
[It's a little bit harder to immediately notice a lone cigarette case than a whole human man, but as Junior quietly wanders the castle he notices an object flipping in the air in his periphery. Ah, there he was. Unsurprising that Hickey happened to be left alone. After what had happened in the tea room, others were likely more preoccupied with Siffrin, Ayaka, and Richard. Perhaps even Shiv.]
Hello again. May I join you?
pretend hickey's icons are all just him being a smarmy cigarette case
[ Can cigarette cases look started? This one looks startled, the clasp popping open briefly. ]
How is it that you manage to slink around unnoticed so easily?
[ But, sure, join him. He's currently trying to engineer various ways to rocket the solarium's chess pieces into the air. Half of the white pieces are already littering the floor—or stuck in various plants. ]

I got my imagination glasses on
[Stealth was the name of his game, baby! Idly, he starts to pick up the various chess pieces--he can set them back up for Hickey as targets!]
It didn't feel like any of that was my business, really. I'd have liked to hear more about what's happening on your side.

Set one here. I want to see if I can knock a lemon out of that tree.
[ Meanwhile, Ayaka's like getting stabbed or whatever. Some people like to do productive things with their poltergeist powers. ]
It's strange over here, to say the least. A lot of bemoaning the fact that we're dead. That's just a failure to spot an opportunity, if you ask me.
